Image Matters LLC, as part of the HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. Team, was recently awarded the new Chief Information Officer Solutions & Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for IT solutions and services, under both the Small Business Category and the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Category. The CIO-SP3 GWAC can be used by any federal civilian or DoD agency to fulfill a broad range of mission critical IT requirements.
Managed by the National Institute of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), the CIO-SP3 GWAC is a ten-year, $20 Billion, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a Period of Performance through 2022. “This is a strategic win for us, opening new doors in the public health sector,” said Harry Niedzwiadek, Image Matters CEO. “With this agile contract vehicle, we will be able to reach out more quickly, and with lower costs, to our full spectrum of government customers, including the Institutes and Centers (ICs) of the National Institute of Health (NIH), and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).”
The CIO-SP3 GWAC gives Government agencies a way to quickly order IT solutions and services at reasonable prices and focus on the accountability goals of the Federal Health Architecture (FHA), allowing Federal Agencies to coordinate effective capital planning activities; invest in and implement interoperable health IT; and provide IT services designed to support the Federal Enterprise Architecture and the DoD Enterprise Architecture. “This contract represents a significant and exciting opportunity for all of our Team members,” said HMS CEO Bill Kirkpatrick. “Image Matters offers complimentary offerings and enhances our considerable experience and skill base in areas like imaging, CIO support, digital government, and software development.”
